The Phelps Fire Department hosted a Multi Department Ice Rescue Training session
on Saturday, February 28th, at Camp Ditmer in Phelps, which included
firefighters/rescuers from Phelps FD, Clifton Springs FD, Oaks Corners FD, Port Gibson
FD, & Newark FD. EMS coverage was provided by Phelps Ambulance. This training
was a refresher for those have been previously trained with ice rescue techniques.
