3.13.09; Stove (Hood) Fire; Stapelli's Pizzeria [PHOTOS by Miranda Goodman]
The Phelps Fire Department was dispatched Friday evening to Stapelli's Pizzeria on
Main Street for a reported stove fire. Upon arrival, Chief 21-0 found a grease fire in the
vent hood above the stove. Crews from Phelps contained the fire in the vent system, and
quickly extinguished the fire. Stapelli's was able to re-open for normal business the
following day.
