6.30.08; MVA Head-On; Routes 14 & 318 [Photos Coming Soon]
Phelps Ambulance & Oaks Corners Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Routes
14 & 318 this morning around 0600 for a two vehicle MVA, reported to be head-on,
with unknown injuries. Oaks Corners Chief 32-0 arrived on location confirming the
MVA, with one injury. Phelps Ambulance 2191 and Lyons ALS handled patient
care, and requested Mercy Flight to respond to the scene. Oaks Corners Rescue
3271 established a landing zone at the NYS Thruway Exit 42 tandem lot, and the
patient was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
