7.29.09; MVA; NYS Thruway, MM 331 Westbound [PHOTOS]
The Phelps Ambulance & Fire Department were dispatched Wednesday to the New
York State Thruway for a reported one car MVA. Ambulance 2192 arrived on
location to find one patient, still in the vehicle, requiring extrication. 2103 took
command, crews from Engine 2121 & Rescue 2171 performed the extrication, and
the patient was transported to Exit 43 (Manchester), where Manchester FD set up a
landing zone for Mercy Flight to complete the transport to Strong Memorial Hospital
in Rochester.
