Phelps Ambulance and Oaks Corners Fire were dispatched early Friday morning for a
report of a box truck that went off of an embankment, and was in a pond. Oaks
Corners Chief 32-0 arrived on location, and confirmed the box truck off of the road, in
the Canandaigua Outlet, with the driver on the roof of the truck. The truck was
submerged up to the bottom of the box on the medium duty truck. Phelps Fire was
requested to the scene with Rescue 2171 for ropes and other equipment. The
patient was removed from the roof of the truck, and brought back up the
embankment, where Phelps Ambulance 2191 and Lyons ALS awaited, and
transported the patient to Clifton Springs Hospital with minor injuries.
