to County Road # 25 this afternoon for a reported structure fire. Command went on scene with nothing showing, then reported a possible fire in the wall behind the stove. Phelps Fire Department was requested to respond to the scene as well. 2101 and Tanker 2141 responded from Phelps. person trapped inside the vehicle. First units arrived on location reporting a car that hit a pole and went down into an 8ft. ditch with approx. 2 1/2 feet of water, no fire. The occupant managed to get out and waited on top of the vehicle until firefighters were able to assist the patient off of the vehicle. There were no injuries. Orchard Park at 14:11 for a smoke detector activation and home owner reporting hearing a "bang" sound. 2131 arrived on-location with nothing showing cancelled Oaks Corners after assessment of scene. Blown Boiler Relief Valve was determined to be the cause. Firehouse, as they were working a structure fire in Hopewell. While standing by, Port Gibson Fire/Ambulance was dispatched for a MVA at the intersection of County Road 27 & County Road 7. Phelps Fire was dispatched (as fill in for Clifton) to set up a landing zone for Mercy Flight. 2131 responded to the MVA, and established a landing zone, then returned to Clifton Springs to continue the standby. Phelps returned to quarters at approximately 1:45pm. Vehicle MVA on State Route 96, just west of the Yankee Clipper, dispatch reported occupants were trapped. Command arrived to confirm that information, and additional help was requested from Phelps Fire and Port Gibson Fire (set up landing zone.) structure fire, smoke and fire reported on the initial dispatch. Oaks Corners command arrived on scene confirming a working fire. Units that responded from Phelps included 2131 (established off site water supply), 2121, 2171, 2141, 2191, 210, 2101 & 2102. Melvin Hill Road, just south of Phelps Cement. Dispatched indicated a vehicle in the ditch, two occupants. 2102 arrived on location with 2192 and confirmed the 1 car MVA, 1 patient still in vehicle requiring extrication. Mercy Flight was requested by OCALS. 2121 responded, used the Hurst tools to remove the driver's side door, and patient was extricated. A landing zone was established 100 yards from the incident, and patient was transported to Strong Hospital. All units cleared the scene by 09:42. arrived on location reporting a 10'x30' pit about 3' in depth, filled with water from the broiler with a temp of approximately 180 degress. 2171 requested additional help and the sump pump off 2151 along with more 1 3/4" hose. Assignment was cleared at 8:24. reported house fire early Saturday morning. 2131, 2171, & 2191 responded with full crews to assist. Upon arrival, the fire was under control. The fire appeared to be the cause of improper wood stove ventilation. 2131 assisted with wood/coal removal from stove, as well as roof inspection. 2171 assisted with scene lighting, and 2191 was on EMS standby at the scene. Ambulance 2191 responded with a crew of 3 along with 2103. 2103 was first on scene along with an Oaks Corners firefighter reporting entrapment and the vehicle is on its roof. Patient is breathing but not alert. 2103 immediately called for the "Heavy Rescue" 2171. 2191 arrived on-scene and made a quick assessment of the patient and called for Mercy Flight. North Side FD set up the landing zone at exit 42 in the tandem lot. Patient was extricated from the vehicle after being back boarded and collared. The patient was then carefully carried up the embankment and transported to exit 42 to the awaiting helicopter which rushed the patient off the Strong Memorial Hospital. Mutual aid was requested from Phelps FD and Seneca Castle FD. Phelps FD personnel assisted with interior attack of structure fire while Engine 31 and Tanker 41 established a backup water supply by laying out approximately 1200' of 4" hose to a tanker shuttle location at Mill Road and CR 23. Phelps Ambulance assisted at the scene with firefighter rehab. Fire was brought under control in approximately 40 minutes. Assignment cleared at 21:21. Units responding: 210, 2101, 2102, 2103, 2131, 2141, 2191. fires along the Norfolk-Southern railroad along Route 14. Phelps Fire and Phelps Ambulance responded to assist with the extinguishment of the fires and to provide rehab/stanby EMS for the responding companies. Responding units from Phelps included: 210, 2101, 2103, 2141, 2151, 2161, 2191. Phelps Fire for the job at 16:29. Chief Conklin (210) arrived on scene and reported a fully involved lawn mower, roadside. Chief Springer (2102) and Engine 3131 responded with a crew of 4, and fire was brought under control quickly. 2102 Also responded to the incident. Submitted by Wayne Conklin (21-0)
