WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PHELPS?
- Eclipse date: April 8, 2024
- Phelps will be in the "path of totality" during this ONCE IN A LIFETIME Total Solar Eclipse, not set to occur again until the year 2144 in our area.
- The duration of the Total Eclipse totality period in Phelps is estimated to be approx 2 minutes and 49 seconds.
- Partial eclipse begins: 2:07pm
- Total eclipse begins: 3:21pm
- Total eclipse ends: 3:24pm
- Partial eclipse ends: 4:33pm
HOW CAN YOU VIEW IT?
The Phelps Fire Department will be hosting a camping experience on our festival grounds, where you may reserve a campsite for your Camper, RV, or Tent.

- Site reservation will be for Saturday, April 6, 2024 --> Tuesday, April 9, 2024
- $300 Site Fee for duration of event. No partial reservations.
- Payment in full will be required to reserve a site. Non refundable.
- All sites measure 25'x50'. No hookups, dry camping only. Generators are permitted. (See Rules for generator times)
- Fresh water will be available to fill water supply tanks.
- Dump station will be available.
- Pets allowed. (see Rules for further details)
