FEMA courses IS-700 (Intro to National Emergency Management System [NIMS]),
and IS-100 (Intro to Incident Command System.) This training can be done online,
through a self study program offered by FEMA. Cost is free, and you will receive a
certificate upon completion, which you need to turn into the Chief to be put on file.
