    Winter Driving
Obviously, the safest thing to do when it is snowing is to stay
home, right? Unfortunately, that is not always an option.  The
winter weather can make for some very poor road conditions, and
tends to cause many problems on the road.  For some winter
driving tips, check out this link to The Weather Channel.

Winter Has Arrived!
Like it or not, the snow is here to stay for a few more months.
And while we would all like to hope we never will have to use a
fire hydrant, unfortunately we may need to.  Please assist us by
keeping fire hydrants in your neighborhood clear of snow, so
that we can have quick access in the event of an emergency.

    WINTER FIRE SAFETY TIPS
The winter in upstate New York can be tough, especially in
extreme cold temperatures.  Unfortunately, it can also
subject us to many dangers.  This can include heating
appliance fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, frostbite,
hypothermia, motor vehicle accidents, and sporting
accidents (skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc.), to name a
few.  Please visit our Winter Fire Safety Page for more
information on keeping you and your family safe this winter!
