Phelps Fire and Ambulance responded to 96 and 88 for an MVC. Command
went on location reporting 2 cars off the side of the roads, air bags deployed
on 1 vehicle. 1 patient was transported to Geneva General.


July 21, 2010

Phelps Fire and Ambulance responded this afternoon for a two car MVC at
the intersection of 96 and Lester Rd. Command went on location reporting 2
cars blocking the west bound lane.

One pt was transported to Newark Wayne by Phelps 2191


Soon after clearing the MVC Phelps fire responded to 2106 Fort Hill Rd for a
pole snapped with no wires down. Possibly caused by the storm that came
through a few hours before. Command went on location confirming a pole
snapped at the base, no wires down . NYSEG was requested to the scene.

Phelps Ambulance along with Oaks Corners Fire Department responded to
the Thruway for a report of a car into a guild rail. Command went on location
confirming one car into the guild rail blocking the passing lane. Command
also updated that there were no injuries




July 3, 2010






The Phelps Fire Department was dispatched this morning a reported
helicopter crash near the Ridley road trailer park. Further updates from
dispatch reported that helicopter pilot spotted the fire, and landed to report it.

The Oaks Corners FD was dispatched upon confirmation of a structure fire.  
Command went on location and reported a working fire. The fire was called
under control in approximately 10 minutes, and no injuries were reported.

July 3, 2010

The Phelps and Oaks Corners (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments
were dispatched this afternoon to Ridely Road for a reported fire on the
second floor of a structure.  While en route, dispatch reported receiving  
another call reporting a fire in the basement.

Command went on location and reported a working basement fire.  Mutual
aid was requested from Marbletown for a tanker and Lyons for a ladder.  
Clifton Springs provided stand-by coverage for the Phelps Fire Department.

The fire was under control in approximately 15 minutes.
